Da heutzutage die Festplatten immer größer werden, fällt auch die Verwaltung solcher immer komplexer aus. Ich weiß manch einen interessiert das nicht wirklich, was auf seiner Festplatte so los ist und wenn diese mal voll sein sollte, wird halt eine noch größer gekauft. Ok, das ist eine Möglichkeit (und außerdem gut für die Wirtschaft). Der andere Weg ist, sich einmal über die Belegung der Festplatte zu informieren. Ich verwende dazu GetFolderSize, eine Freeware von Michael Tummerer, die sowohl kommerziel wie privat kostenlos genutzt werden kann. (Download)

Because of the goes bigger and bigger HDDs these days, there is also the administration of this more complex as before. I know for some peoples it is not so important what happens on the hard disk drive and if this almost full, they buy a new and bigger one. Ok, this is one of possible ways  (and the good one for economy). The other one is, to get an overview aboout the occupance of the disk. I use GetFolderSize for that.
